Mr. Paul Winstanley, one of our Partners, is a seasoned executive with extensive industry expertise and a broad and deep personal network in the defense, security, technology and renewable energy sectors.

Previously, Mr. Winstanley was the President & CEO of QinetiQ North America Inc., a multi-national corporation.  During his leadership, organic growth in excess of 50% was achieved via the delivery of highly differentiated offerings; with QinetiQ becoming the largest offshore supplier to the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).  This was complemented by a highly successful M&A strategy and integration programs.  The resultant QinetiQ North America, was a significant company with both consultancy and technology business streams which materially enhanced the channel to market for offshore offerings.  Mr. Winstanley is conversant and highly experienced in international business.  

He began his career in the UK Ministry of Defence where he rapidly became responsible for developing and implementing ground breaking technology programs.  He was then recruited into QinetiQ during its privatization period, where Mr. Winstanley played key roles in business transformation, such as his noteworthy role as Technical Director Land Division.  Mr. Winstanley was instrumental in the rapid recovery of a failing business by the development and implementation of clear strategic objectives, resulting in QinetiQ establishing a leading role as the supplier of a hybrid electric transmission to the US Future Combat System (FCS).

Mr. Winstanley is a graduate of The University of Hull where he graduated with a degree in Applied Physics. Additionally, he attended the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) program in 2003.
